Governor John Bel Edwards visited SUSLA’s LAVetCorps Center

On Monday, November 11, 2019, the Louisiana elected Governor John Bel Edwards visited SUSLA’s LAVetCorps Center located in the Louis Collier Building. The Governor, along with staff, faculty, students, and guests joined in to celebrate those who had served in the Armed Forces. SUSLA’s own Veterans Upward Bound Program participants attended the celebration of Veterans Day with the Governor. Governor Edwards was pleased that the University was acknowledging the presence of Veterans on the campus and having the LAVetCorps Center. At SUSLA we will always remember this nation as the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.
