Surgical Technology Success

Six Students Complete the Program

The Surgical Technology Program had six summer completers. The Pinning Ceremony was hosted by Department Chair Dee Keys with active support from Dean JoAnn Brown and Allied Health Program Coordinator Mrs. Cynthia Jenkins. Mr. Brandon Lacey was the Guest speaker who mesmerized the audience with words of wisdom and encouragement.  Mr. Lacey is the Academic Advisor for the Division of Business, Science, Engineering, and Math (BSTEM) and Project Manager for the Department of Engineering and Technology.

Five of the six students have already secured employment. The sixth graduate is intentionally delaying their application until September 2023.
